My love/hate relationship

I love bbm, it's my favorite thing about having a blackberry but it can be both a gift and a curse. I think it's great that I can see when someone reads a message I sent but what about when I read a message someone sends me but don't want to respond or choose to ignore them? I look like the bad person. BBM has taken away my favorite response of, "oh I didn't get the text" or "sorry I didn't see it till late"... lol. You see how it can be a double edged sword.

I utilize my status' on bbm and make it clear when I'm available or busy. When I'm at work, the gym, or church, I usually say so. I don't mind getting texts then but just know I might not respond until I'm finished or until I get a free moment. What I can't tolerate is people hitting me up when I say I'm sleeping! Don't bbm me period (unless I'm really digging you and you know it for a fact..lol). It really irks me when people see my status and bbm me, "wake up" or ask "you sleeping yet?". It makes me wanna scream "RESPECT MY STATUS".

All you club promoters, don't include me in your broadcasted message about your next event. I hardly showed up to any of your parties in the past so I probably won't be showing up anytime in the near future. Besides the promotion you do on facebook is enough. While we are on the topic of broadcasted messages, don't send me any unless they are incredibly funny or really inspirational. No one likes forwards on email so we definitely don't want them on our phones either.

Please stop changing your display name. I don't know who or what to look for when I'm ready to hit you up. You have the option of updating your status, isn't that enough? *side note* I'm all about updating status' through out the day but if you do it excessively, perhaps twitter is a better option for you #imjustsayin...lol
