Nite at the theater

Earlier tonight Nelson and I headed to the Verizon Center to see Madea's Big Miserable Family. I went to H&M a few days before leaving NY and saw this dress but I had a few reservations. First of all it was leopard print for goodness sake and I've never wore animal print before. I wondered if it was too much and if I could even pull it off. After trying it on, I was horrified. It did nothing for me, I mean it just hung there, but my wheels began to turn. I had a few ideas and if they didn't work I could always return it. I borrowed a belt from an Arden B dress in my closet, grabbed some old BCBG shoes that matched perfectly, and my faux leather Guess jacket and VOILA... I love how the belt allows the dress to gather at the sides... so what do you think? You like??

I really enjoyed our night out at the theater. It was a typical Tyler Perry play with dysfunctional family members and stereotypical, non developed characters but of course Maedea was hilarious and was the highlight of the show. The singing was unbelievable and the inspirational words were moving.
